Students will use word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation software in college to fulfill class objectives and assignments.  If you are entering an academic program such as digital media or music, you may want to check with a faculty member from that discipline to see if there are software titles they recommend.

Common Software Applications Used by Students:

  • Google Docs-  free
  • Office 365- free
  • Mac Applications: Pages, Keynote, Numbers- free on new Macs
